Baranovich Online
Lot 163:
The amulet was written in a clear legible writing for a woman, with many kabbalistic symbols. Later the name was changed to Rachel daughter of Megida. The amulet is rolled into a designated slipcase. The case is cylindrical, long and narrow, illustrated with a leaf motif along its length on the two sides. Three rings are attached on one side, with a chain thread through them linking to two additional rings through which another chain is attached for hanging. On the second side are five rings to which are attached Russian coins of ten kopeks from the years 1861-1929.
In the book HaKameia HaIvri, this amulet is very similar to Persian amulets nos. 296-297, but much longer and detailed.
