On the title page is printed: Volume I. It was supposed to have been the first volume of a 4-volume set, however the book initiated a stormy controversy since the author tried to stick to the historical truth, and many Chabad chassidim felt that the book insulted their admired Rebbe. There were those who even threatened the life of the author, who was once a Chabad chassid himself. In the end, the set was abandoned and only two volumes were published. This volume is extremely rare.
In excellent, like-new condition. Softcover printed with pictures of the Rebbe and his chassidim.
