Signed by the engraver in print: “Brenner” and in pencil. The engraving was colored by hand in watercolors. Moritz Daniel Oppenheim (1800–1882) was born in Germany and is considered the first modern Jewish painter and one of the greatest Jewish artists of all time.

The engraving is in good condition with foxing.
