Here is a set of fifteen uncut cards with biblical illustrations. On the reverse of each card is the title of the card and an explanation in English. This is part of a series of cards and workbooks called Emmanuel printed by the Kaufmann printers of Lahr Baden, Germany for the British market, distributed by their agents in London. At that time, it was not yet possible to produce high quality lithographs in England, so they were printed in the largest printing press of Lahr Baden, an important industrial city in Germany.
