Collection of Illustrations from Early Books

Collection of fifteen drawings of different sizes on Biblical and Jewish themes. The largest drawing is 37 x 25; the smallest is 20 x 18 cm.

The collection includes two large pictures of religious artifacts, drawn by B. Picart, from the book Ceremonies and Religious Costumes of the People of the World, in English. The other drawings are of biblical scenes, the Tabernacle and its vessels, the Temple, the priestly garments, tefillin, and four charts of biblical measurements. There is also an apparent illustration of Shabetai Zevi.
