Calendar from 1818 until 2244, with the markings of the seasons and new moons, various customs and the dates of the major fairs of Europe, with comparisons to the secular calendar. Handwritten. [Central Europe. 1818]. [1], 39 leaves, 20 cm.

Here is a four hundred (plus) year calendar, with dozens of charts nicely written by hand. The title page is also handwritten. The manuscript includes charts for the new moon, the onset of the seasons, and the date for beginning the prayer for rain (outside of Israel). Written on the last pages are Jewish customs applicable around the year. With an impressive chart of the Christian holidays, and the dates of the major fairs in 30 cities in central Europe, from eastern Hungary to western Germany, and from Danzig in north Germany to Arad, Romania in the south.

This is a rare manuscript, especially in such condition.

Written on thick paper and bound in marble-like paper. After the index, a page was inserted with the additional years of 1801–1815.
