Announcement by the directors of the Aged Needy Home in Jerusalem. [Jerusalem. Circa 1905]. A large single sheet. 47 x 29 cm.
The announcement is written in Hebrew, Yiddish, English, German and French on behalf of the elderly men and women of the old age home and its geriatric hospital, with a description of all its activities. At the top of the sheet is a chart, with columns divided by language. At the bottom is a fundraising appeal in Yiddish and English. In the center is a large picture of the home’s new building. The announcement also protests the use by others of their name.
The sheet is decorated, and extraordinarily rare.
In very good condition.
