1. “Tenu Kavod LaTorah” (Give Honor to the Torah) – the Chassidic Rebbe of Radzimin
Announcement of the welcoming reception for R. Menachem Mendel Gutterman, the Chassidic Rebbe of Radzimin, upon his arrival in Jerusalem. Published by the directorship of Kollel Warsaw–Poland. Jerusalem, Zuckerman press. [1929?]. 30 x 47 cm.
The Chassidic Rebbe, R. Aaron Menachem Mendel of Radzimin, the son of R. Shlomo Yehoshua David, became Rebbe in 1903. He served in the capacity of President of “Kupat Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes.” He visited Israel several times. During his visit in 1929, he was instrumental in setting up a mechitza between men and women at the Kotel. He passed away in 1934.

Announcement of the welcoming reception for R. Menachem Mendel Landau, the Chassidic Rebbe of Strikov upon his arrival in Jerusalem. Jerusalem, Yavne press. 1935. 30 x 30 cm.
The Rebbe R. Elimelech Menachem Mendel of Strikov was the son of R. Dov Beirish of Biala and one of the great Chassidic Rebbes of Poland. He visited Israel twice. This poster was printed in honor of his second visit. His name as given on the poster was R. Menachem Mendel, however, upon his return from this visit, he fell ill and was given the additional name of Elimelech. He passed away in 1936.
