The Passover Haggadah according to the German and Polish rite. The songs at the end include a German translation in square letters. With copper-engraved illustrations. Some copies have an additional illustrated title page from a festival prayer book published in London, 1807.
Wartime owner’s inscription: Hans Herbert Hammerstein, Internment Camp Hay, N.S.W., Australia. Included is biographic information regarding the owner, a teacher from Bonn, Germany, who was interned during the war in an "Enemy Alien" Internment camp in Australia.
