Decorated silver-plated seder plate. Marked: “Bezalel Jerusalem.” Jerusalem. [1928]. Diam: 34 cm. Weight: 616 gr.
A decorated plate with the words of the Mah Nishtanah engraved in the center. Around the center are five depressions for the special foods of the seder plate, with the names next to each one: “Zeroa” (bone), “Betza” (egg), etc. Along the rim of the plate is a wide border with illustrations of the slavery in Egypt and the Exodus from Egypt, with the Ark of the Tabernacle and more.
The seder plate was presented to supporters of Bezalel as a Passover gift.
In excellent condition.
