The author compiled sections of the Zohar that explain the verses of the Bible and translated them into Hebrew. He published the original text and the translation on facing columns. The work includes the compiler’s commentary named Ziv HaZohar. In the preface he writes that since a large portion of the Zohar can be learned with no prior knowledge of kabbalah, he has compiled and translated the Zohar’s commentary on those verses, making it available to the public.

With a lengthy approbation by R. Chaim Chizkiyahu Medini, author of the S’dei Chemed and more, who assures the author that the translation of the Zohar into Hebrew is permitted. The book has approbations by the Chassidic Rebbes of Gur, Lublin, Ostrovze and Rachamstriwke, and by R. Shalom HaCohen of Brezan, R. Chaim Berlin and others. A complete set of this important work.

In good condition and in the original embossed bindings. With pinhole worming in several places.
